Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to process, release, and invoice orders for domestic and export shipments. You will review orders, communicate discrepancies, and coordinate with brokers and sales teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3–5+ years of related experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with SAP and EDI. A team-oriented, detail-focused communicator will thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5+ years of work experience with domestic and export shipments.
• Data entry experience with CS, Supply Chain, SAP, and EDI is a plus.
• Strong background in export documents, Incoterms, and HTS codes.
• Experience coordinating with plants on production schedules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface with multiple teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review inbound orders verifying parameters are met (weight, pricing, promotions, lead-time).
• Communicate discrepancies to brokers, customers, and Sales Administration and resolve issues before shipment release.
• Create outbound deliveries for EDI transmission to 3PLs; plant deliveries managed by plants.
• Review billing due lists for pricing and brokerage accuracy.
• Monitor on-time shipments and resolve delivery issues (shorts, missed appointments).
• Submit new customer master records and revisions; coordinate with other disciplines.
