Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. in Memphis, TN seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee hourly staff and ensure efficient receipt and shipment of goods while maintaining sanitation and inventory controls.

You will lead loading crews, monitor productivity, coordinate with the Warehouse Manager, and uphold safety standards, training forklift operators, and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in high-volume warehousing/distribution.
• Knowledge of food distribution disciplines: supply chain, data processing, transportation, warehousing.
• 2-5 years knowledge of WMS with SAP emphasis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly warehouse employees and coordinate activities for receipt and shipment of goods.
• Assign trucks to loading docks and inspect vehicle conditions.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and perform weekly physical inventories.
• Train and supervise forklift operators; enforce OSHA and HACCP requirements.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and safety practices; prepare injury reports if needed.
• Process payroll changes and oversee disciplined actions per union rules.
