Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Missouri is hiring for a warehouse/order picker. Select cases and containers, and prepare orders for shipment using a pallet jack or forklift, while following safety and quality standards.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with incentive opportunities up to $26+ after training; a $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants. Expect a 40-hour week with a Sunday–Friday schedule and a 5pm start.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shifts.
• Ability to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 60–100 lbs depending on location.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Ability to pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Perform safety checks on equipment and wear required PPE.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Move pallets and items on multi-level racks using pallet jack or forklift.
• Transport completed orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if required.
• Complete necessary paperwork and assist with other duties as assigned.
