Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Minnesota is seeking a warehouse order selector to pick cases and non-food items from multi-level rack storage and prep shipments for loading. You’ll operate an electric pallet jack/forklift, wrap pallets, and ensure accuracy and safety throughout the shift.

Hiring is immediate with training at $21.00 per hour, rising to $23.55 per hour on average after training. The schedule is a 4-night work week (Sunday–Friday, no Saturdays), from 5:00 PM until finished.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within the new-hire training period.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies; keep work area safe and report hazards.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies, and perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift.
• Meet required productivity and accuracy standards.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and move along multi-level racks to locate products.
• Manually place stock items on pallets from pick slots and racks as required.
• Transport completed palletized orders to shipping dock; shrink-wrap if needed.
• Handle batteries during shifts and complete equipment checks and paperwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
