Job summary

Drossbach is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Forklift Operator-Order Puller for a part-time shift, 4pm-8pm, Monday through Friday. You will retrieve and prepare customer orders using forklift equipment with accuracy and safety at the forefront.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, order picking with WMS, loading/unloading shipments, and supporting shipping and receiving while maintaining strict OSHA safety standards. Strong accuracy, physical fitness, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations.

• Operate forklifts to transport materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick customer orders using order picker equipment and WMS to ensure correct items are shipped.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards and company policies.
• Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, including verifying inbound shipments and preparing outbound orders for delivery.
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with warehouse manager to optimize workflow and support distribution goals.

Duties

• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or safety hazards.
• Collaborate with warehouse manager to optimize workflow, improve inventory accuracy, and support warehouse distribution goals.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control.
• Prior experience in shipping & receiving, materials handling, or order pulling is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety practices.
• Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform heavy lifting tasks safely.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order picking processes.
