Job summary

Precision of New Hampton is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our order-processing team. In this front-line role you will be the voice customers, branches, and the traveling sales team hear when they need an order entered, a shipment confirmed, or a problem solved.

You will handle inbound and outbound calls, enter sales orders, process payments, confirm shipments, and collaborate with distributors and warehouses to fill orders while maintaining accuracy across multiple screens

Qualifications

• Clear, professional phone and written communication.
• Patience and courtesy with customers.
• Strong organization and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to listen and enter information across multiple screens at the same time.
• Comfort with a computer, email, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• AccPac/Sage experience is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and place outbound calls to customers, distributors, warehouses, branch staff, and sales
• Enter and process sales orders
• Process credit card payments and credits
• Confirm shipments and schedule pickups
• Work with Precision distributors and warehouses to get orders filled
• Complete bank deposits and related admin
• Keep Excel and Word files current
• Resolve issues quickly while protecting both the customer relationship and the company’s interests
