Job summary

Assurant, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a logistics/order management professional to troubleshoot insurance claims and other orders, and drive enhancements to order processing.

This onsite role supports materials, operations and fulfillment centers to maintain SLA and accurate shipments. You will work with the Oracle warehouse management system to modify and migrate orders, verify lines, prepare daily reports, and resolve order issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BS/BA in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of distribution and logistics background.
• MS Excel proficiency to manage large amount of data.
• MS Word proficiency to create basic documents and reports.
• Good communication skills to interact and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot insurance claims and other orders; identify enhancements to order management processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and administer order flow.
• Coordinate with Materials, Operations and Fulfillment centers to satisfy and ship orders within SLA.
• Use Oracle WMS to modify, migrate and push orders to facilitate order flow until shipment.
• Verify order lines, prepare daily reports, and manage shipments; respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
• Monitor and resolve order issues using available tools.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to resolve escalations related to stock availability.
• Generate multiple reports to communicate priorities and urgency to other departments.
• Follow FIFO to satisfy older claims and prioritize production orders.
