Job summary

Assurant, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Irving, TX to oversee materials flow from procurement to distribution, optimize inventory, and reduce costs through lean processes.

The role demands leadership of the Inventory Control function, clear communication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet internal and external requirements. The candidate will manage cycle counts, develop KPIs, and establish reporting to ensure SLAs are met while maintaining safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• 7+ years in logistics/distribution in a high-volume environment with data interpretation & logistics experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing supervisory personnel
• 2+ years inventory management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate flow of work with supervisors to meet demand schedules and KPIs
• Lead department goals, monitor performance, and manage headcount and labor efficiency
• Establish reports and track KPIs; present findings to management
• Oversee cycle counts and inventory accuracy and liaise with vendors and customers
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, and environmental regulations
• Develop training programs and performance standards for area personnel
