Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Materials Manager to ensure smooth production materials flow at the Irving, TX depot. The role oversees lifecycle of materials, maintains optimal inventory, and leads inventory control teams to reduce costs while preserving quality and supply continuity.

The position is onsite at the Irving facility with a Monday–Thursday, 6 AM–4:30 PM schedule, reporting to senior management and driving KPI-based improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any business or related discipline.
• 7+ years in a logistics/distribution, fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment with at least five (5) years of data interpretation/analysis and two (2) years of inventory management experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years leadership experience with at least five (5) years’ experience managing supervisory personnel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow with supervisors to meet customer priorities and demand schedules.
• Oversee staff training, policy adherence, and morale.
• Develop and analyze departmental reports and KPIs; present findings to management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set goals and drive improvement.
• Identify process improvements and design new KPIs and models.
• Create reports reflecting product flow, task completion, and SLAs.
