Job summary

You will prepare purchase orders for ERP entry, confirm contact details, part numbers, and pricing to support manufacturing processes.

The role includes communicating with internal teams and customers via phone and email, using CRM for case management, and assisting with reporting and RMA tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in order entry, order management, administrative support, or related roles preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

Job Summary/Overview

The Order Entry Specialist (OES) is primarily responsible for maintaining the Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) by entering orders, confirming pricing, and bringing customer account information up to date. The OES prepares purchase orders for entry into the ERP system by confirming contact name, address, part numbers and pricing. After reviewing orders for deficiencies, the OES inputs orders into the ERP system. Order entry at Dorner Mfg. Corp is a semi-customer facing position. The OES communicates with internal and external customers using the phone, email, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The OES is key to Dorner’s manufacturing process, they are the initial phase of purchasing and manufacturing. By entering the order accurately and efficiently all other functions gain a higher probability of success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifies entered customer and account information.
• Enter orders for parts and standard conveyors.
• Maintains and utilizes CRM tool for case management.
• Assists with reporting, processing RMA forms, and miscellaneous Client Services tasks.
