Job summary

Quality Enclosures, Inc. is seeking an Order Entry Manager to lead our centralized quote and order entry function in Central Islip, NY.

This hands‑on leadership role builds and develops a team, sets priorities, and drives on‑time execution through disciplined processes and clear metrics. You will partner with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Production, and Engineering to remove bottlenecks, improve workflows, and ensure customer and sales requirements are executed effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 4–6 years of experience in order entry, operations, or related environment.
• At least 3 years of supervision or team leadership.
• Experience with ERP systems and order-processing workflows.
• Strong organization, communication, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team, set priorities, train, and coach.
• Manage the centralized order queue.
• Drive quality and accountability.
• Measure performance with KPIs and scoreboards.
• Improve processes, develop SOPs and training materials.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with departments.
• Provide hands-on order-processing support when needed.
