Phoenix Contact in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an entry-level Customer Service Specialist I – Order Entry to accurately process and maintain customer orders. You will review orders from EDI, email, and manual channels, validate details, and coordinate routine resolutions under supervision.

You'll develop proficiency in ERP/CRM systems, support onboarding, and communicate status to customers and internal teams while contributing to service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field with up to two years of related experience.
• Foundational understanding of customer service and order- processing practices to learn company processes.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Effective written and verbal communication with cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; ability to learn ERP/CRM/EDI systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, enter, and acknowledge customer purchase orders from EDI, email, and manual channels.
• Validate customer and order details to support accurate and timely processing.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate routine resolutions with internal teams.
• Communicate order status and required actions to customers, distributors, and sales.
• Maintain complete records in ERP and CRM systems and document inquiries and resolutions.
