Job summary

Amylu Foods, Inc. in Chicago seeks an Order Entry / Customer Service Representative to own the order experience for major retail customers.

You will enter orders into our ERP, coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, Production Planning, and Finance to ensure on-time, accurate delivery. The role emphasizes problem solving for shortages, delays, and discrepancies while maintaining customer records, tracking service metrics, and building strong relationships with buyers and distribution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service or order management in food/CPG/manufacturing.
• Experience with large national retail accounts preferred.
• Experience with EDI and ERP systems (NetSuite/SPS Commerce a plus).
• Proficient in Excel; strong communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders from EDI, portals, email, and phone into ERP accurately.
• Provide end-to-end order support through production to delivery.
• Primary contact for assigned accounts on status, pricing, and delivery timing.
• Investigate and resolve order or fulfillment issues; drive to resolution.
• Coordinate shipments with Logistics, Warehouse, and carriers.
• Review daily open orders to catch potential issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Track service metrics like fill rate and on-time delivery.
