Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of related experience.
• Experience should include order entry, quote processing, customer service, sales, and/or office administration.
• Experience with MRPII, Excel, and Word is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle order entry from customers via calls, faxes or email.
• Provide timely, accurate product and service information.
• Notify supervisor of any complex customer inquiries.
• Evaluate customer requests for product availability and delivery details.
• Communicate quotes and pricing information promptly to customers.
• Maintain and organize customer order files and pricing data.
• Monitor delivery dates and inform customers of delays or backorders.
• Coordinate with other departments for proper order processing and issue resolution.
• Process returns, credits, warranty claims, and disputes promptly.
• Support field-based independent sales representatives with service.
• Project enthusiasm in customer interactions and maintain professional standards.
• Continuously improve personal professionalism and service quality.
