Job summary

BTX Global Logistics seeks a proven Station Manager for the ORD site to lead daily operations, ensuring best-in-class service throughout the shipment lifecycle. You will drive SOP compliance, KPI performance, and profitability while fostering a high-performance team culture at the ORD station.

You will partner with Sales and Corporate to align processes, coach staff, and maintain precise billing and reporting. This exempt, full-time role reports to senior leadership and supports company growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
• 10 years of operational experience; customer service or call center experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on operational experience in a corporate environment.
• Desk-level operations experience: quoting, routing, documentation, AWB and BOL preparation, and domestic/international forwarding network knowledge.
• Knowledge of TSA regulations and IATA Dangerous Goods certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the ORD station.
• Develop employees for increased responsibility through coaching, training, and leadership development.
• Partner with Sales and Corporate Leadership to create and maintain customer-specific SOPs, including business overviews, contacts, operational processes, and quoting procedures.
• Ensure SOPs are consistently followed to deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of shipments.
• Report staffing, operational, vendor, and IT issues to Corporate for resolution.
