Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking a Station Operations Manager to oversee the airport station, ensuring safe, efficient handling of aircraft movement, cargo and ramp activities while complying with all regulatory requirements.

You will lead diverse teams, coordinate with customers and vendors, and manage budgets and SOPs to support multiple locations. Strong leadership and operational excellence are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of extensive airline operational experience.
• Experience in cargo/passenger service operations on 767/777/747 preferred.
• Pass initial and annual recurrent training in Loadplanning, Weight & Balance, and aircraft handling.
• Able to perform all aspects of Ground and Cargo Operations including Loadmaster, handling hazardous materials, de-icing, fueling, catering, security, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the overall station operation to support all business units.
• Ensure station safety regulatory compliance for aircraft, facilities, equipment and personnel.
• Manage Cargo terminal operations to meet company and governmental policies and ensure quality service.
• Interface with customers and vendors to train in company requirements and procedures.
• Monitor station contracts to ensure vendors comply with contracts and SLAs.
• Meet with customers and vendors regularly to discuss issues and scope of operation.
