Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience and building a Patient for Life. You will assist with clinical duties, sterilization, radiographs, and chairside support, while maintaining a positive, collaborative office environment.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to travel to multiple offices as needed, with opportunities for professional growth within a team of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED, and specified training as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Specialty Dental Assistants are required to travel to multiple offices per day with reliable transportation.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; ability to interact with Clinicians and staff effectively.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions per the applicable state’s Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties.
• Assist clinicians to deliver PPE and patient care while addressing individual needs.
• Escort patients to/from the front desk and introduce them to team members.
• Prepare radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and ensure infection control guidelines are followed.
• Prepare tray setups and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory.
