Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and building a Patient for Life (PFL). You will prepare patients for exams, assist dentists, and maintain a clean, sterile environment in a team setting.

Responsibilities include radiographs, charting, instrument sterilization, and coordination with front desk to ensure smooth Orthodontist schedules and patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or as mandated by state.
• Dental assisting certificate preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to confidentiality of patient records.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental assisting duties to support clinicians and PPE goals.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist during procedures.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; maintain operatory cleanliness.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Record patient charting and notes in the digital chart system.
• Coordinate with front desk to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow.
