Job summary

PDS Health is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians in delivering the Perfect Patient Experience and to help create Patients for Life. You will prepare patients for exams, assist dentists, and maintain a clean, organized practice environment across multiple offices.

The role requires handling radiographs, intra-oral pictures, charting, and coordinating with front desk and team members to keep the Orthodontists’ schedule running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state-required certification/licensure.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Must travel between multiple offices; reliable transportation required.
• Travel may be planned or unplanned and can occur daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians and prep patients for treatment.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare trays for procedures.
• Escort patients to the front desk and introduce them to staff.
• Maintain a clean, sterile operatory and comply with infection control guidelines.
• Record patient charting in the digital system and review records with clinicians.
