PDS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You’ll assist with patient preparation, radiographs, sterilization, and maintaining a clean, efficient operatory while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient focus, teamwork, and adherence to infection control guidelines; travel to multiple offices may be required for Specialty Dental Assistants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-specified certification/licensure requirements.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance; background/mvr checks.
• Travel to multiple offices daily may be required; reliable transportation.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use software; adapt to office tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state Dental AuxiliariesTable of Permitted Duties.
• Escort patients to/from front desk and introduce team members.
• Coordinate with front/back office to ensure orthodontist schedules run smoothly.
• Sterilize, disinfect instruments, and maintain operatory cleanliness.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist for efficient care.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral photos as directed.
• Maintain tray setups and monitor supply levels.
• Educate patients on postoperative and oral health care.
