Heartland Dental LLC is seeking an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our team. You’ll support dentists with four-handed dentistry, take x-rays, manage patient education, and ensure a comfortable patient experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification required by state act.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• HIPAA training and data safeguards compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients from the start of treatment and maintain comfort throughout procedures.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists during procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
