Job summary

Heartland Dental is partnering with Family Dentistry of Orange Groves to hire a Dental Assistant who welcomes patients and supports a positive, patient‑focused team.

You will review health histories, take and process x-rays, provide chairside assistance, use Dentrix for scheduling, and maintain a clean, safe treatment room.

We value growth, collaboration, and reliable attendance; dental assisting experience is preferred but new grads are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Dental knowledge of procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Licensing/certification required where applicable.
• HIPAA training compliance and data protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients at the start of their dental journey.
• Review health histories to support quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and imaging.
• Provide four-handed chairside assistance to dentists.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and records.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment room and manage supplies.
• Collaborate with providers to optimize office workflow.
