Job summary

Heartland Dental LLC is hiring a Dental Assistant to support patient care with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative team approach. You will greet patients, review health histories, and assist with x‑rays and a variety of procedures using Dentrix and iTero tools.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and high-quality patient interactions, with opportunities for training and growth within a stable national network.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification as required by state.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and support patient comfort with education throughout treatment.
• Review the patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x‑rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide variety of procedures following safety protocols.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following OSHA & CDC guidelines.
• Manage supplies and inventory; place and expedite orders as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
