Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery in Henrico, VA is hiring a full-time Clinical Assistant to support daily clinical operations in a fast-paced dental surgical practice. The position involves seating patients, preparing treatment rooms, sterilization, and maintaining logs per office standards.

Applicants should have HIPAA understanding, strong communication skills, and availability for the responsibilities described.

Qualifications

Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles.
Understanding of HIPAA, required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with surgery or oral surgery in a medical or dental practice, preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Practice.
Clean instruments, laboratories, and treatment rooms.
Stock rooms appropriately.
Seat and recover patients.
Follow all clinical related policies and procedures according to practice standards.
Complete clinical logs and follow cleaning schedules.
Complete pharmacy logs according to practice standards.
Follow OSHA, AAAHC, and practice clinical guidelines.
Perform day-to-day functions in line with practice policies and mission statement.
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
