Virginia Oral & Facial Surgery in Henrico, VA is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to support patient seating, room prep, and instrument/room cleaning in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure clean treatment areas and accurate daily logs while contributing to exceptional patient care.

We value HIPAA understanding and strong communication; X-Ray certification is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with sedated patients is important, with adherence to practice policies and

• Understanding of HIPAA, required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supports the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Practice.
• Clean instruments, laboratories, and treatment rooms.
• Stock rooms appropriately.
• Seat and recover patients.
• Follow all clinical related policies and procedures according to practice standards.
• Complete clinical logs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Complete pharmacy logs according to practice standards.
• Follow OSHA, AAAHC, and practice clinical guidelines.
• Complete day-to-day functions in a proficient manner consistent with practice policies, procedures, and mission statement.
• Other duties as assigned by Office Manager.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Need:

• Demonstrated understanding of sterilization principles, required.
• Understanding of HIPAA, required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

What It Takes:

• Experience with surgery or oral surgery in a medical or dental practice, preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist with sedated patients.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stretching, lifting, and bending.
