Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; two years in healthcare admin environment.
• Experience in healthcare, dental, medical lab, or academic healthcare setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Sciences, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience with Epic, LIS, EHR, billing systems, or healthcare workflow improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate daily laboratory workflow to ensure accurate specimen processing and timely turnaround.
• Oversee specimen receipt, logging, accessioning, and data entry in LIS/database.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of clinical, billing, insurance, patient, and clinician information; follow up as needed.
• Act as liaison with Revenue Cycle on billing questions, claim denials, coding, and documentation.
