Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Internal Controls Manager for its Platform Security practice in California. You will lead risk, controls, and governance design across Oracle-enabled transformations, guiding senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include defining future‑state controls, performing ITGC assessments, and deploying AI-driven monitoring. You will mentor staff and help deliver compliant, sustainable control environments for clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, implementing, and/or assessing business‑process risks and controls across cycles such as Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Core HR, or similar processes.
• 5+ years assessing current‑state control environments, identifying transformation‑related risks, and designing future‑state controls and ITGCs.
• 2+ years leading a workstream or project team responsible for internal controls, risk management, security, or compliance within an ERP transformation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• Travel will be required for this role; travel amount varies from 0 to 100% depending on client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal-control strategies and solutions for Oracle-enabled platform transformations.
• Translate business, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements into future-state control and governance requirements.
• Identify transformation-related risks, assess impact, and define practical mitigation approaches.
• Apply AI, analytics, automation to improve risk identification, control design, monitoring, and operating efficiency.
• Lead client engagements and workshops with business, technology, compliance, internal audit, and executive stakeholders.
• Manage work planning, resource coordination, status reporting, issue escalation, quality review, and delivery risks across workstreams.
