Job summary

Uber seeks an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll expert to own Payroll functionality end-to-end. You will configure, maintain, and optimize Payroll, collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Operations to gather requirements, and drive enhancements across quarterly releases.

Role requires hands-on payroll tech, strong troubleshooting for payroll issues, and a focus on automation and efficiency. This is a Seattle-based position with full-time in-office expectations in alignment with Uber’s policy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll and payroll configuration
• Experience troubleshooting complex Payroll-related issues and performing root cause analysis
• Working knowledge of Time & Labor and Absence modules
• Experience supporting UAT and quarterly release testing
• Ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate requirements into system solutions

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Oracle HCM Payroll functionality, including configuration, maintenance, and optimization
• Troubleshoot and resolve Payroll, Time, and Absence issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Operations to translate requirements into system solutions and deliver enhancements
• Lead and support testing efforts during quarterly releases, including UAT validation and production readiness
• Drive continuous improvements in Payroll processes, automation, and system efficiency
