Job summary

Advantra Consulting Group is seeking an Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant for a remote contract role with travel. The engagement spans 5 months+ and requires strong expertise in payroll processing and Oracle Cloud Payroll.

The consultant will lead payroll documentation, configuration, testing, parallel testing, and go-live readiness, collaborating with Payroll, HR, and IT teams to resolve complex variances and ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting or leading payroll implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of payroll earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, balances, payments, retroactive processing, adjustments, and other payroll concepts.
• Experience configuring, reviewing, or validating payroll functionality.
• Experience supporting payroll parallel testing, end-to-end testing, UAT, regression testing, and payroll reconciliation.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve complex payroll processing issues and variances.
• Ability to analyze payroll results and identify root causes of discrepancies.
• Ability to work effectively across Payroll, HR, functional, technical, integration, data, and testing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate payroll business requirements into functional and technical solutions.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Payroll is strongly preferred.
