Job summary

Uber Technologies Inc. is seeking an Oracle App Developer to own end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations, collaborating with product leads and stakeholders to optimize the employee lifecycle from recruit to retire.

You will translate business requirements into scalable architectures and configurations, document solutions, and drive delivery with engineering, HR partners, and cross-functional teams to scale for the future.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud implementation or configuration experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Visual Builder Studio, HSDL, HDL, and SQL.
• Extensive experience with full software development lifecycle and product management in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience configuring and building scalable Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for enterprise multi-platform issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to manage conflicting demands in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on HR tech enhancements and solutions.
• Act as SME for Oracle HCM solution architecture and drive long-term scalability.
• Lead POCs, document solutions, and collaborate with consultants and engineers for delivery.
• Enforce enterprise-wide architectural standards and guidelines.
• Document configurations and solutions to Uber's standards.
• Diagnose complex problems and propose impactful solutions.
• Provide strategic oversight during delivery phases.
• Monitor Oracle HCM Cloud releases and identify improvement opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships across the organization to drive consensus.
