Job summary

Grant Thornton in Chicago is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Solution Architect to support our Oracle HCM Cloud platform and lead the migration of HCM systems from acquired firms into a centralized Oracle HCM environment. This role ensures the integrity, scalability, and consistency of our HR processes as we grow through mergers and acquisitions.

The candidate should have 7+ years in IT/HRIS with Oracle HCM expertise, deep module knowledge, and hands-on data loader/integration experience.

Qualifications

BS in computer science or information systems, or equivalent work experience.
7+ years in IT or HRIS with Oracle HCM expertise.
Experience implementing and configuring Oracle HCM applications and end-to-end processes.
Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM modules and data architecture.
Experience with M&A HR system migrations and data loader tools.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical and functional lead for Oracle HCM Cloud platform.
Design and oversee HCM system integration and migration strategies for acquisitions.
Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and M&A teams to gather requirements and define migration plans.
Provide architecture oversight, data mapping, and support during onboarding projects.
Configure applications and conduct iterative unit testing.
Identify and resolve system issues, optimize configuration, ensure data integrity across HR modules.
Align Oracle HCM with Snowflake, Informatica, ERP, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform for automation and reporting.
Lead platform enhancements, proofs of concept, and roadmap planning.
Monitor Oracle updates and assess applicability to the environment.
