PeerSource is currently recruiting for an Oracle HCM Architect on a Direct Hire basis. This role can be located on a hybrid basis from most US cities; fully remote may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
Summary
We are seeking a senior Oracle HCM technical leader to drive the architecture and delivery of scalable, secure enterprise Human Capital Management solutions. This position will own technical execution across Oracle HCM Cloud, integrations, data migration, testing, releases, and M&A onboarding while leading internal technical teams and system integrators. The role will partner closely with business, product, architecture, and data teams to translate HCM requirements into sustainable enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions across Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, and Compensation.
- Own solution architecture and design, translating functional requirements into scalable technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards and out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Direct Oracle HCM configuration, development, module extensions, integrations, reporting, and technical data migration activities.
- Design repeatable HCM data migration and integration approaches supporting acquisitions and the onboarding of new organizations into the enterprise HCM environment.
- Lead distributed Oracle developers, integration and data specialists, system integrators, and external vendors while maintaining accountability for technical quality and delivery.
- Govern delivery across the enterprise SDLC, including requirements traceability, design reviews, unit/SIT/regression/UAT testing, release planning, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
- Manage Oracle quarterly releases, including impact assessments, regression testing, platform readiness, and adoption of new functionality.
- Partner with product owners, business SMEs, enterprise architecture, and data/analytics teams to maintain the HCM roadmap and ensure solutions meet security, risk, privacy, regulatory, and data governance requirements.
Required Skills
- 12+ years of progressive enterprise HCM delivery experience, including deep hands-on expertise with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Proven experience leading full-lifecycle Oracle HCM implementations encompassing design, build, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Prior experience working for established consulting companies or professional services organizations.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge across multiple Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR & Workforce Structures, Talent Management, Payroll & Benefits, Time & Labor/Absence, Recruiting & Learning, and Compensation.
- Experience with Oracle HCM integrations and technologies including REST/SOAP APIs, HCM Extracts, HDL, Fast Formula, middleware platforms, and Oracle HCM security models, roles, privileges, and data access controls.
- Strong understanding of enterprise SDLC, testing and quality assurance methodologies, Oracle Cloud quarterly release management, and Agile delivery; SAFe experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading geographically distributed technical teams and managing system integrators and external vendors.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced or Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with M&A-related HCM migration experience is valuable.
