Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, invites applications for the Oracle Financial Reporting Analyst in the Financial Data Analytics and Reporting office. The role supports operational financial reporting across UFA, serving thousands of ERP and Tableau users.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements, and develop ERP reports using OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, and FRS, ensuring data accuracy through testing and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of financial reporting experience.
• Experience developing reports in Oracle ERP and data analytics.
• Master's degree may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and requirements.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications with OIT and end-users.
• Develop and maintain ERP reports using OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, and FRS.
• Validate data, reconcile, and test report outputs.
• Test reports during Oracle updates to ensure functionality.
• Understand data flow across Oracle modules (GL, PPM, AR, AP, FA, Cash).
• Manage reporting requests and prioritize using Jira/ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot report and data issues; escalate when needed.
• Provide end-user support and training materials.
• Maintain report definitions, docs, and security in Oracle/Tableau.
• Create user-facing documentation and job aids for reports.
