Rutgers University is seeking a Consulting Application Developer / Business Intelligence Report Developer in the Enterprise Applications and Research Computing (EARC) within the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This hands-on role collaborates with stakeholders to gather dashboard requirements and deliver BI reporting solutions using Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle BI Publisher, and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field is required.
• Seven (7) years of experience as a BI reporting/dashboard development.
• Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of the BI reporting and dashboard development life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design, implementation, and support.
• Establish standards and best practices for BI dashboards and related technologies.
• Provides guidance, and mentoring to less experienced developers on BI reporting development lifecycle including tools, methodology and best practice, and provides support to user community.
• Helps with BI strategy and evangelize business intelligence reporting solutions to foster user adoption (including demos, educational materials, etc.)
• Keeps abreast of the latest BI, reporting and ETL technologies. Participates in the BI community, participates in forums, conferences, meetings, and presentations.
