Job summary

Accenture in the United States is seeking an Oracle Field Service Cloud Technical Designer to drive transformation for utilities clients. You will configure OFS, lead cross-functional teams, and translate field operations into scalable solutions that improve productivity and service delivery.

The role requires hands-on OFS configuration, Java/Groovy experience, and collaboration with business, testing, and offshore teams. Travel may be required up to 100% based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of working on Oracle Field Service Cloud solution application.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Technical Designer on an Oracle Field Service Cloud implementation.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience with Configuration Tools components and Java / Groovy.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with field service operations, dispatch management, scheduling optimization, or related areas.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional business, technology, integration, testing, client, and offshore teams.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (6 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle OFS transformation programs for utilities clients, including field service process redesign, solution configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live adoption.
• Review and understand the acceptance criteria and solution design provided in the Features.
• Create Technical Design documents to satisfy the Feature Acceptance Criteria and aligned with the solution design.
• Walk through technical design documents with the Developers.
• Communicate technical solution and progress to different cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that developed code is in line with the technical specifications and ensure high quality deliverables.
• Analyze and triage defects to recommend fixes.
• Define unit test cases that cover important business scenarios.
• Configure and extend Oracle Utilities products to meet requirements.
• Work closely with the Business and Functional Designers to ensure the technical solution align with the solution approach.
• Lead and coach Developers in the team by imparting knowledge and managing their performance.
• Analyze functional, technical, and integration requirements across scheduling, dispatch, mobile workforce, routing, capacity, and field execution processes.
• Support execution of cutover activities, deployment readiness, change enablement, and stakeholder communications for OFS releases.
