Job summary

Lateral Insights is seeking an experienced Oracle eBusiness Suite Programmer Analyst to join a senior development team in Richmond, VA. You will translate requirements into robust application solutions, support daily operations, and contribute to Agile development practices.

Ideal candidates will comfortably work independently and in a team, adhere to coding standards, and document work thoroughly for turnover. This full-time role requires onsite presence three days a week.

• Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2+ on Linux servers (OCI) with 8+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute application development for Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2+ including AP, GL, Purchasing, iRecruitment, HR, and Time & Labor modules.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to develop programs using Oracle standards and tools.
• Perform complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
• Design, develop, modify, test, debug, and implement programs and systems.
• Develop and execute unit and system testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Define input and output requirements and turnover of program changes to production.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

About the Role:

This Programmer Analyst position will serve as one of two senior developers for the HR and Financial Oracle E-Business Suite application. This individual will be in a team of four working Agile development to process a variety of complex backlog items and support daily operations.

The individual in this position will assist with translating formal and informal requirements into database and application solutions. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as a team. The ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers is essential. Comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews. Fully document work performed and provide technology turnover on all work performed to other staff.

Responsibilities Include

• Executing application development for Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2 or above, including, but not limited to, the Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor modules
