Job summary

Lateral Insights, LLC is seeking an experienced Oracle eBusiness Suite Programmer Analyst III to join a small Agile team in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on senior development for HR and Financial modules, translating complex requirements into robust Oracle solutions and ensuring production stability.

You will work with both independent and team efforts, document work thoroughly, and follow coding standards and governance. Onsite presence 3 days a week is required due to collaboration needs.

Qualifications

• 8 years of Oracle E-Business Suite development and implementation experience.
• Experience with HR, Payroll/Time and Labor and General Ledger modules.
• Strong PL/SQL, Forms/Reports and JDeveloper skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute development for Oracle EBS 12.2+ across AP, GL, Purchasing, iRecruitment, HR, and Time and Labor.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to translate into Oracle solutions.
• Perform complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
• Design, develop, modify, test and implement programs and systems.
• Develop and execute unit and system testing and support UAT.
• Define input/output requirements and turnover changes to production.
• Create and maintain SOPs and technical documentation.

Role: Oracle eBusiness Suite - Programmer Analyst 3

Location: Richmond VA Onsite - Days in office required (3 days): Tues, Wed & Thursday each week.

About the Role:

ThisProgrammer Analyst III position will serve as one of two senior developers for the HR and Financial Oracle E-Business Suite application . This individual will be in a team of four working Agile development to process a variety of complex backlog items and support daily operations. The individual in this position will assist with translating formal and informal requirements into database and application solutions. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently and as a team. The ability to adapt to change and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers is essential. Comply with all system development policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, including coding standards and reviews. Fully document work performed and provide technology turnover on all work performed to other staff.

Responsibilities Include:

• Executing application development for Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2 or above, including, but not limited to, the Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing, iRecruitment, Human Resources, and Time and Labor modules
• Gathering and analyzing business requirements through interviews and observations to develop and modify program applications utilizing Oracle application standards and tools
• Performs complex system administration, maintenance and support for production systems.
• Designing, developing, modifying, testing, debugging, and implementing programs and systems.
• Developing and executing unit and system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing
• Defining input and output requirements and supporting turnover of program changes into the production system
• Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
