Job summary

Ariel Partners is seeking professionals to advance HRA Eligibility Systems and related POS application development in our New York office. The role focuses on system design, database development, and maintenance for complex public-sector applications used to support hunger, poverty and homelessness programs.

Responsibilities include data analysis, software development, testing, and documentation, with exposure to mainframe and diverse environments.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Oracle databases and application development.
Experience writing and debugging store procedures in Oracle 12C/11g.
Proficiency in data analysis, data access, and database design.
Strong programming, testing, and implementation skills.
Experience preparing technical/user documentation and software conversions.
Exposure to mainframe, mid-range, and PC environments.
Leads in design of program specifications and software solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop system design specifications and documents for solutions meeting system and security requirements.
Create specifications for databases, communications, hardware, network, security, storage, and software configurations.
Produce diagrams for databases, networks, and storage, and document configurations.
Develop system operations designs and procedures for systems, hardware, and software.
Handle production incidents: analysis, triage, root cause, and bug fixes.
Create unit test scenarios and data element requirements; maintain application versions.
