Ariel Partners is seeking professionals to advance HRA Eligibility Systems and related POS application development in our New York office. The role focuses on system design, database development, and maintenance for complex public-sector applications used to support hunger, poverty and homelessness programs.
Responsibilities include data analysis, software development, testing, and documentation, with exposure to mainframe and diverse environments.
The HRA Eligibility Systems-POS Application Development unit within the Office of Enterprise Solutions Engineering is responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing web and mobile applications required to support the agency’s mission of preventing and addressing hunger, poverty and homelessness. The unit is also dedicated to the testing of administrative systems that either develop or purchases, as well triaging and responding to data and analytics request necessary to monitor and report on key performance indicators such as capacity, census, and critical incidents occurring in the SNAP and CA eligibility systems. Many of the applications from the HRA Eligibility Systems unit, communicate with both internal and external systems and platforms like the NY State Welfare Management System (WMS), New York City – Work Accountability and You (NYCWAY) and other diverse data sources.
