Jersey City Medical Center is seeking an OR Tech I to join the Operating Room team. The role supports the surgeon and RN, delivering patient care and ensuring sterile, ready conditions before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Surgical Technician program, and 2–3 years of experience with scrub skills across multiple service lines. Scheduling is full-time, with day shifts in a on-site facility.

• Completion of a Surgical Technician training program.
• 2–3 years of experience in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical team under the direction of a Registered Nurse and work with the surgeon during surgery.
• Deliver patient care before, during, and after surgery as part of the operating room team.
• Maintain readiness of equipment and sterile fields for all cases.
