Job summary

Ambulatory Surgery Center of Utah in Utah is seeking a detail‑driven Scrub Tech to join a fast‑paced surgical team. You will help maintain a sterile environment, support surgeons and nurses during procedures, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care in a per diem capacity.

The role requires completing a Surgical Technology program with CST/CORT preferred and at least one year of surgical experience. BLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a post-high school Surgical Technology program.
• CST or CORT certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a surgical setting.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Assist surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sutures, and equipment.
• Prepare equipment, instruments, and operating rooms before procedures.
• Assist with scrubbing, gowning, and gloving for the surgical team.
• Prepare dressings and assist with postoperative bandage application.
• Operate, adjust, and monitor surgical and sterile processing equipment.
• Position and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Document accurately and in a timely manner.
