Baptist Health Lexington Surgical Services is seeking an OR Service Coordinator for ENT/Plastics/Urology to supervise workflow and staff across the service lines. You will address performance, patient, family, and physician concerns while ensuring compliance with accreditation and licensure standards.

The role requires coordinating equipment, mentoring staff, and maintaining budgetary goals; you will also ensure room turnover and daily supply readiness.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• RN or Certified Surgical Technician certification required; CST preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a related role, or 15 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise workflow and staff for ENT/Plastics/Urology service lines within Surgical Services.
• Address performance, patient, family, and physician concerns; ensure ongoing accreditation and licensure compliance.
• Mentor/preceptor to staff; coordinate equipment needs with vendors and department directors.
• Operate service line within budgetary goals as defined by department leadership.
• Ensure daily room turnover, and verify room cleaning per guidelines; manage supply and equipment needs.
• Update preference cards within two weeks based on physician needs or changes in technique or supplies.
