Baptist Health Lexington is hiring an OR Service Coordinator for ENT/Plastics/Urology in the Surgical Services department in Lexington, KY. This full-time, first-shift role focuses on coordinating service lines, supervising workflow, and ensuring high-quality patient care within a large health system.

Responsibilities include budget adherence, staff coverage, room turnover, and ongoing education. Requires RN or CST or 15 years as a Surgical Technologist; HS diploma; 5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in surgical services or related field.
• RN or CST certification required or 15 years experience as Surgical Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workflow and staff for ENT/Plastics/Urology service lines within Surgical Services.
• Address performance, patient, family and physician concerns to ensure quality care.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with JCAHO/CMS accreditation and state licensure requirements.
• Mentor staff and share knowledge to improve planning and education.
• Coordinate equipment needs for each service with vendors and directors.
• Operate service line within budgetary goals defined by department leadership.
• Monitor daily surgery schedule and assign equipment and staff as needed.
• Update preference cards based on physician needs or changes in techniques.
