AtlantiCare's Surgery Center is seeking an OR Scrub Technician to support the surgical team during procedures under the direction of the Registered Nurse. You will prepare the sterile field, handle instruments, and ensure equipment is functioning properly to maintain patient safety.

In this role you will anticipate needs based on anatomy and procedure, assist with patient positioning, and uphold confidentiality and professional growth as part of the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited surgical technology program required.
• Completes 15 hours of continuing education to remain certified in NJ.
• Demonstrates competencies per Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgical team during procedures as scrub/instrument person.
• Prepare operating room and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique for supplies and instruments.
• Position patient as directed by perioperative RN and support departmental goals.
