Job summary

Palmetto General Hospital is seeking an entry-level scrub tech to assist surgeons in the OR. This role supports procedures such as Cesarean sections, tubal ligations, and hysterectomies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Candidates should be graduates of a surgical technology program (or equivalent) and may have one year of OR experience. The position requires flexible hours and on-call nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent
• One year of O.R. experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with a variety of surgical procedures under the supervision of an RN.
• Support procedures including Cesarean Sections, Tubal Ligation, Hysterectomy, Cervical Cerclage, Dilation & Curettage.
