Job summary

Hackensack MeridianHealth invites qualified nurses to join the Jersey Shore University Medical Center OR team. A current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required, along with BLS/CPR certification.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of nursing experience or be in the Nurse Residency program; OR experience and CVOR exposure are preferred. BSN in progress and/or willingness to obtain within three years is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or be an active participant in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program
• OR nursing experience preferred
• CVOR experience preferred
• National certification preferred
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical cases in a busy OR department.
• Must be a self-starter who works well independently.
• Time management and prioritizing skills a must; ability to multi task.
• Commitment to ongoing education and delivering the highest quality patient care.
