Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health's Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a qualified OR nurse. A current New Jersey RN license is required, with BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire, and at least 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the HMH Nurse Residency program.

Experience in CVOR or OR cases is preferred; you must be a self-starter, able to scrub and circulate, manage time, multi-task, and adapt to changing patient needs while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of nursing experience or be an active participant in the Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency program.
• OR nursing experience preferred
• CVOR experience preferred
• National certification preferred
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
• Motivated team member responsible for scrubbing and circulating on variety of surgical cases in busy OR department.
