Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a qualified nurse for the operating room in New Jersey. The role requires an active NJ nursing license, BLS/CPR, and at least 6 months of nursing experience or participation in the HMH Nurse Residency program.

OR experience and BSN in progress are preferred and a self-starter attitude is essential to manage scrub and circulating duties in a busy OR. The position offers competitive starting pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience or active participation in HMH Nurse Residency program.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Motivated team member responsible for scrubbing and circulating on variety of surgical cases in busy OR department.
• Must be self-starter who works well independently.
• Time management and prioritizing skills a must. Ability to multi task.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs with strong accountability and teamwork.
