Job summary

• Ability to multi-task, delegate and prioritize in a busy OR environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and current surgery schedule and monitor room scheduling.
• Schedule anesthesia coverage for all departments except obstetrical units.
• Assist with flow of the OR desk and perform clerical tasks.
• Manage and route faxes to appropriate personnel.
• Notify customer service on pending cases requiring presence.
• Assist OR Charge Nurse and promote Wesley services to schedulers.
• Communicate with surgeons regarding case requirements and updates.
• Ensure accuracy of surgery reservation forms and logistics.
