Job summary

Ascension is a leading nonprofit Catholic health system that values service, growth and care. This role supports the Seton Northwest operating room by coordinating surgical case scheduling to maximize OR capacity, and by ensuring readiness for Level 4 trauma response.

You will review and verify incoming case requests for complete clinical documentation, manage real-time schedule changes, and collaborate with surgeon offices and hospital teams to resolve missing details and communicate

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical case scheduling for the Seton Northwest operating room to maximize OR capacity and support Level 4 trauma response readiness.
• Review and verify incoming surgical case requests to ensure complete, accurate clinical documentation prior to scheduling.
• Manage real-time schedule modifications by entering, updating and resolving case conflicts to maintain smooth daily perioperative flow.
• Collaborate directly with surgeon offices and hospital clinical teams to clarify missing case details and communicate schedule adjustments.

Education

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
